My name is Mary, and I live in Florida (US). I'm a single mom with five children and I work as a writer/published author. I also do freelance writing. My special area of interest is in disability issues and disability advocacy. I enjoy classical music, good movies, reading, research, and traveling. I'm somewhat old-fashioned in my thinking, according to my kids, (yet ours is the house where the neighborhood teenagers hang out when they want to have fun or when one needs a place to stay for a couple of days!) It's a house of hugs. Go figure. :)
